Early morning Activity: 8 am

Marina Bay Sands during the day

For your morning walk, you can head towards Merlion Park and visit the most iconic statue then go around Marina Bay Sands and stop by at the famous giant trees of Garden by the Bays.

  • Merlion Park – Singapore’s most iconic statue is a must see which is made from a lion’s head and a body of a fish. The Merlion was initially used as the logo for their tourist campaign – the two symbols originated from the country being a fishing village and from the name Singapura which means Lion city.

  • Marina Bay Sands – the famous hotel and casino built in 2010 facing the Marina Bay area. It offers world class facility from their hotel services, theater and shopping of world renowned brands. They also offers a bird’s eye view of the Singapore rich city scraper – the Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, soaring 57 levels above the heart of the city.

Exit A – Connects to Bayfront Avenue street level.

Bugis Shopping Mall

Lunch and dine at one of the finest dining restaurant around Bugis or Orchard area or you may also choose from the variety of food and drinks at the Kopitiam (food court) – don’t forget to try their famous Chicken rice. You may also want to grab some snacks in Jollibee at Lucky Plaza.

  • Orchard Road – if you are after shopping, this district is a must visit for shopaholics as most of the branded items are around this area. The other side of the road would be the Lucky Plaza, the home of where Jollibee started it’s root in Singapore and a meeting place of most of the Overseas Filipino workers (OFW).

Note: There are a lot of Exit around the area so make sure to read the proper signs before you exit.

Mid Afternoon Activity: 2 pm

After a sumptuous meal, you can head towards Harbour front and have a quick walk at Palawan Beach and see the biggest Merlion statue in the area. If you have another day in Singapore, you may include Universal Studios Singapore and enjoy the different and exciting theme park rides and activities.

  • Sentosa Island – this man made island is home to Resorts World Hotel and Universal Studios. The island is connected via a cable car or free board walk pass from the Harbour front MRT exit.

Harbourfront Station (NE1) – Purple Line or Habourfront Station (CC29) – Circle/Orange Line which is linked to VivoCity Mall

Via Sentosa Island Monorail Express – located at Vivo City, Lobby L, Level 3.

Via Cable Car – Take Exit B, labeled as Harbourfront Center and follow the signs towards Harbourfront Tower II. The Singapore Cable Car Station is at the top of this tower.

Via Sentosa Island Monorail Express: There are booths at the corner of the L Lobby that are dedicated to selling the Sentosa Pass. The price is $4 Singaporean dollars per person, which already covers your round trip journey and entrance to the island as well unlimited use of the Sentosa Express around the island for the day.

Via Cable Car: Ticket prices is at $29 Singaporean dollars for adults and $18 Singaporean dollars for children between 3 to 12 years old.

Note: Operates from 8.45am – 10pm daily (Last boarding is at 9:30 pm) only.

Head towards China Town or Mustafa for souvenir shopping. If you are a fan of Chinese and Indian cuisine, this is the perfect place for you and your travel buddies.

Late Afternoon Activity: 5 pm

  • China Town – like any other countries, there will always be a place like China Town, home for most souvenir items and great Chinese cuisines. You can also visit some local sites around the area such as Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Sri Mariamman Temple.

  • Mustafa – the country’s 24 hour shopping store located in Little India with variety of products from jewelry, food and a lot of chocolates, toys and clothing. Shop till you drop in Mustafa since it is open all day long.

Evening Activity: 7 pm

End your day with some cool and relaxing view of the City lights and grab some snacks or drinks at Clarke Quay or Boat Quay.

  • Clarke Quay – once part of history as the center of commercialization where transfers of goods took place, at present, five blocks of the area have various restaurants and clubs offering different cuisines.
